Success Is About Taking The Initiative
Self Development : Success There is a well known quote, which in a generic form goes something like this: "if you want to do x, don't appoint a committee than decides whether doing x is or isn't a good idea, just go out and do x". This is sound advice in the majority of situations (unless you're a New Labour government, of course, in which case you appoint a committee to decide if you need a committee, then another independent committee to report on the committee if something goes wrong). Anyway ignoring that aside, the key is that you need to take ACTION to be successful. Planning is a necessary phase, but it should be strictly managed and identified. You may be the best list writer in the world, but at the end of the day you need to take ACTION and actually set out DOING and achieving your goals. And in this simple truth, lies within what you are after in whatever it may be - Success.
