How To Take Panoramic Photos

Hobbies : Photography

Panoramas look great - with their long, wide view they give a real feel of a landscape scene, and the vision is like looking out from inside a postbox!

It always used to be hard to take panoramic photos, but with modern APS cameras it's much easier and anyone can do it.

Simply set the mode on your camera to 'P' for panorama before taking your shot. Use the setting to give a sense of SPACE to your picture, and also of SIZE.

Great places to use panoramas - at the top of the cliff whilst on holiday looking over the beach, or on a walk in the country to show the rolling fields.

Try taking a panorama over a large cornfield as the sun is setting deep red.

If you can, try to get a person or some other known object in the picture that will give a sense of scale. And remember to get as much of the shot in focus as you can.
