The bench press is a very popular exercise for those who are looking to build muscles in their arms and develop their shoulders.

However, there are dangers attached as just performing this exercise and a couple of other arm related exercises can lead to great strain on the back and pain.

It can also lead to the shoulders becoming hunched and so-called turtle back effect.

Therefore if you bench press, you should ensure that it is part of a balanced exercise program. Do not overdo it, and make sure that you add other exercises into your routine in addition.
