We all know that we need a healthy balance of vitamins and minerals in our diet to help promote good health in us.

However there are many B vitamins in the overall set of vitamin B and there is not much known as to the benefits of these and how they each help us.

Therefore here is a quick outline of what some of the B vitamins are and how they can help:

- Vitamins B1 is called thiamin. This is often added to breakfast cereals. It helps your nervous system and also helps the body use carbohydrates to generate energy

- Vitamin B2 is called riboflavin. It is essential for healthy skin and eyes.

- Vitamin B6 is called pyridoxine and is useful to the body in the process of using protein effectively in the body, and is also useful in helping the body use certain trace elements.

- Vitamin B12 is called cobalamin, and is usef for red blood cell production, and also for prtein building in the body.
