The Benefits Of Being Shy
Self Development : Confidence Whilst being shy is genuinely seen as a bad thing, there are some advantages. Because you make friends less easily or even have less friends, it means you build deeper and longer lasting relationships with those that you do become friends with. In addition to this, you don't like the sound of your own voice too much which means that you actually listen to what others say. You are more likely to be sensitive and even more academic and therefore capable of higher level and more meaningful and interesting conversations. So being loud and boisterous is all well and good; but being shy clearly does have some advantages.
