It can be hard with so much to think of to monitor the aspects of your dish and what to have in each one.

We are checking the calories, the levels of everything we can think of - salt, sugar and so forth.

What about the ratio of fats to protein to carbs?

Well dieticians recommend a level that is expected is around 1:2:3 respectively; that is three times the carbs of the fat in each dish with protein split down the middle between the two.

Also remember it is important to have a good amount of fibre in your diet; one of the ingredients that still too many people miss out on in their diet but roughage is important.
