| Cleaning : Useful Cleaning Tips The easiest way I know to keep the outside of my windows clean and smear free is to go out after a rainstorm has made the windows really wet and squeegee them dry. If you do this regularly you will always have smear free windows. For the inside use two tablespoons of white vinegar to a litre of water and wash the windows with these. This can also be used on the outside if there is a long dry spell in which case wipe across the inside of the pane and up and down on the outside so if there are any dirty marks you know which side it is on!
