Timing is everything with many things in life, and one of the most important areas where it applies is when it comes to dieting.

It has been shown through research that women should start a diet plan (one to reduce weight at any week) during the first two weeks of their menstrual cycle.

The reason for this is that oestrogen is at a higher level during this period of time, and it is therefore less stressful to cope with a bit less food because this is a natural appetite suppressant.
