The Origin Of Christmas Pudding
| Christmas Many people love the Christmas pudding and the rich and sometimes heavy mix of ingredients that it contains had after Christmas dinner - though it can be a struggle to manage a large portion! So, where did the Christmas pudding come from and why is it in the form that we associate it with most? Well, originally the earliest form of this pudding actually contained meat and was made from beef and onions ith fruit, breadcrumbs, wine and more. However, the meat was taken out in later years and replaced by suet. So overall it is a case of tradition that we have a Christmas pudding but the meat was replaced in later years and so now it is something that everyone can enjoy.
