However you need to remember there are disadvantages to being a small business, too, to balance things out in your mind and ensure that you make the right decision in what you do. Essentially, remember that for a large company the loss of one big contract is an inconvenience but nothing more. For a small business however, the loss of a big contract may signal the difference between profit and loss, the difference between success and failure - and ultimately the difference between you earning enough money to live off and going hungry.
