How To Thicken A Soup Quickly

To quickly thicken up a soup or stew, finely crush some Smash (instant potato) granules and add them to the pot. Make sure that it is at near boiling point and stir until they are are all dissolved. This adds to the flavour in a way that normal thickening agents do not.
