Things Teachers Wish Parents Knew

Education : Teaching

Teachers look after your children, teach them to write and be polite, and also comfort them when they’re upset, but there are some things they wish parents really knew.

You can talk to teachers – not just at parents evening, but if you have concerns or ideas during other parts of the year then they will be more than happy to discuss them with you. They can be contacted by email as well, so even if you’re very busy theres no excuse. After all, its your child’s welfare that is the most important thing.

Helping your child learn at home is important – helping them with their homework will really benefit their education. They can also learn domestic and life skills from you, so maybe let them watch you cook or bake a cake with them. Children learn lots as their brains can take in a lot of information and learn really quickly, so now is the best time to stock them up for later life. Play a game and do a quiz with the whole family.
