The only downside is that you need to find a country to do it in and there aren't many that offer this, apparently. However Canada is one such place so you can ride with the huskies across from Alaska if that's the sort of thing that flicks your switch. You'll be so cold and perhaps hungry that boredom will be the last thing that's on your mind - perfect!
