Whilst it is true that it can be time consuming and expensive searching for a property abroad whilst working full time, it is worth it in the long run as you will know that whatever you pick - if any - was the best available to you. There is nothing more frustrating than buying a property only to be soon alerted to another cracking property nearby for a similar price that would have suited your needs better. Therefore whilst you should be realistic, also don't compromise on what you want in a house in a bid to buy quickly. You have waited this long to buy, so another month or two won't make a big difference!
