This tip is patience. Too many people have a few nights without much sleep at a particularly stressed time and go straight for chemicals to help them sleep.

This is not the way to go if you can avoid it.

Many chemicals that are supposed to stop insomnia actually are not that effective, according to several surveys. If anything the placebo effect can be the biggest factor with some of these things!

Therefore only use drugs after much thought and consultation with your doctor - there are so many natural remedies that you can use instead then be sure to try all other avenues first.
