Top Christmas Lights And Celebrations


Covent Garden in London has a light switch on of 50,000 red and white LEDS as well as 100 strobe lights to light up the Piazza. There is also an interactive 50ft tree known as Kiss.

Mermaid Quay in Cardiff will see its waterfront lights switched on on 4th December by Santa, followed by a large firework display across the water. Don’t forget to check out the Winter Wonderland as well, with its magic Open Air Ice Rink, Ice Café Bar and amazing Ferris Wheel. There are over 50 days of skating from 10th Nov to 3rd Jan.

Edinburgh’s switch on this year will be on 25th November. There will be crazy Balloonatic Elves, Christmas Crackers and some other acts to entertain you. Take a ride on the Ferris wheel, go ice skating below the castle or shop in the Christmas market.

Bath will be switched on by the Duchess of Cornwall, and there is also a market to explore as well.

The Eden Project in Cornwall will have a torch procession, ice rink, carol singing and lots of food and drink.
