How To Treat Blisters During Play

Sport : Tennis

Sometimes during a long tennis match, and perhaps on a hot and sweaty day, you will get blisters during play. This can be quite painful.

In order to treat and play on through blisters, you should ensure that you always have some standard sticking plasters in your bag.

Ensure that they are as thin as possible for your hand so that you can still get good feel and grip, but that they of course serve the important job of covering the raw skin from painful contact with the racquet and the pressure of your grip.

After play, ensure that you wash thoroughly the affected area, and if on the foot consider special, but more expensive, plasters that are designed specifically to treat blisters. They work really well at relieving the pain and helping the blister to heel.
