Here are some simple tips: - welcome new members to the forum - make the forum easy to post to, and easy to understand. If there are rules, place them in a separate "read first" forum at the top of your list, but don't make them too long or difficult - create an "Introduction" forum for new members to introduce themselves to each other - consider sending a monthly email to signed up members telling them of the top posts on the site at present.
