How To Turn Off A Firewall
| Computing : Operating Systems If you want to turn off the firewall for your machine and have the appropriate rights then do so as follows. Not that this is normally recommended but there might be occasions where you want something to come through that would normally be blocked or intercepted by the firewall. Go to: start --> settings --> network connections Right click connection Choose properties --> advanced uncheck the Internet Connection Firewall box
