Understanding Tennis Elbow
| Sport : Tennis Tennis elbow doesn't have to be caused by tennis, though it often is. It is a condition that is quite painful and it's medical name sounds equally bizarre being, as it is, lateral epicondylitis. Basically what happens is an inflammation near a small point in the upper arm bone, which is called the humerus, just above the elbow. Damaged tendons in this area give the pain that is associated with tennis elbow.
