How To Use Confidence Books To Help You

Self Development : Confidence

Many people buy confidence boosting books with one of two reactions.

Either there is an initial boost, positivity and enthusiasm but this quickly goes and they return to normal a week or so after reading the book.

The second common reaction is just one of not being motivated, reading generic jargon and finding it hard to relate it to you.

So what can you do to make the books work for you and be relevant?

The key is to try and personalise things. Use the examples but relate them to areas of your life. Naturally some parts of a book will have more relevance and therefore resonance to you than others.

Try to bring the scenarios to life and work through actively, not just passively reading as you would a novel.

Get involved and personalise what is being told to you, and this will make it much easier to learn from, act on, and improve your confidence as a result.
