How To Use Meta Tags
| Computing : Web Sites There has been much written about meta tags in the past, and using them to improve the performance of your site in search engines. However, they are no longer used a lot to work out rankings, but are still important and should be relevant to your site - as they are often displayed to the end user when your site is produced as a result of a search. There are two useful meta tags, the first is keywords. This is a comma separated list of ten or so words that are relevant to your site. The second is the description - a ten to twenty word sentence that describes that particular web page.
