What you need to do is try to combine both the spraying and blending technique almost into one, and concentrate on one body part at a time then move onto the next, as a quick all over whizz a few times is likely to bias the same area each time and be lighter on another part each time. It takes a bit of practice to get the right amount each time. Also remember that some areas take the tan more easily than others and therefore in these places you should concentrate on less for instance the palms of the hands. In contrast areas with less thick and more moist skin will require a little more.
