How To Use Vinegar To Lighten Hair

Beauty : Haircare

Wash your hair with vinegar before you shampoo it. It helps to remove build up of any styling products and add a natural shine to it as well.

Boil 2 cups of water in a small pan and then add 2 tbsp of cider vinegar and steep for 15 mins. Allow to cool down and once you've rinsed out your shampoo, pour the mixture through your hair.

Use white vinegar to bring out some blonde highlights and lighten it. Apple cider vinegar will bring out auburn tones.

Mix one part vinegar to one part lemon juice inside a spray bottle by shaking. If you want highlighted streaks, separate sections of your hair and spray with the liquid. For lightening and brightening all your hair, saturate it completely. Leave on for 10 minutes or more. Sit outside in the sun for a better effect.

You can do this on a regular basis, maybe up to 3 times a week, while some should only use it once a week. Find out what works for you and follow it.
