If you suffer from back pain, then you want to make sure when you walk that you do not lean forward at all.

Try to walk as tall as you can, and whilst walking consciously attempt to make your back go right up into your neck as it were - this will reduce the pressure that is being placed as you walk on the spine and hopefully will help to reduce the back pain that you suffer from.

Finally, be sure to wear as comfortable and as shock absorbing footwear as you can - some pieces of footwear are much better at this than others, and you should note too that a good fitting shoe is essential for maximum comfort.
