What Shape Does A Red Blood Cell Have
| Education : Biology A red blood cell is bi-concave. The reason it has this shape is because it increases the surface area, to allow more oxygen to be absorbed efficiently. The cell also has no nucleus and hence the whole cell is full of haemoglobin.
