What To Wear When Speed Dating
| Relationships : Speed Dating One of the things you need to do whilst preparing for a speed dating event is to work out just what you are going to wear. And this is actually a fun thing, even for men it can be quite good fun to get dressed up and look smart. The first obvious thing to say is that you will need to make an effort - people are judging on first impressions and therefore doing a little extra grooming so you look nice will pay dividends in the end. Make sure that your hair is done well in place, and that you clean your teeth beforehand. For men in particular make sure that your nails are clean and not too long which can be offputting. Next is aftershave or perfume, even if you don't usually wear one of these then squirt one on, just be careful not to overdo it! Next remember that your clothing should be smart but comfortable so you are not continually in pain at the event from something that is too tight(!) and therefore are able to breathe, relax and enjoy and focus on the event. Remember to play up your best feature in your outfit, whatever you think that is. For men a suit jacket and trousers and a shirt will tend to work best. Women tend to find men who are dressed smartly more attractive than when wearing casual gear. You can go for a tie if you like though this might be seen as just a little bit too formal.
