What You Can't Do On EBay

Money : EBay

There are some things that you can't and should not do on eBay.

One of these is to pass on the charges of using Paypal to your customers.

As you will know you can expect to lose a small, but noticeable percentage, of each transaction to Paypal in fees when you sell an item using Paypal.

What you are not allowed to do is to pass these charges onto the buyer - you must rather just swallow these charges yourself instead.

You may however add a surcharge to cover any credit card processing that you have to perform yourself, but this must be stated upfront and it must be a reasonable charge - do not look to profit from this sort of thing.
