When To See A Careers Coach

Jobs : Job Search

If you are at a crossroads in your career, then it might be time to have a chat with a career coach and find out the right direction for you.

This may happen at various times in your career.

One of the most common is actually quite early - after a year or two of your first job outside of university you might find yourself reflecting on whether you enjoyed it, and whether or not you made the right move.

If not it can be dispiriting as life after uni hasn't been all that it was cracked out to be.

This is the time to consider taking professional advice to identify what sort of job would really make you tick and take your career to the next level.

At other times people have choices and change thrust on them, for instance when made redundant as is all too common these days.

Again if in this situation then career advice might be wisely taken.
