If you are taking vitamin tablets you need to remember to check the instructions first of all, as some tablets can irritate certain conditions.

With regard taking tablets, remember that it is usually best to take them after food.

That way the supplement is not going into a stomach on its own but surrounded by the meal. Note many tablets contain information on when to take them so follow this in preference to anything else; if nothing is stated however this is a good method.

With regard times of day, after breakfast seems to make good sense.

If you try to get into a routine then you will start taking them automatically at that time each day.

I find it best to take vitamin supplements right before or with meals as some of them leave an unpleasant aftertaste. It's best to take them with breakfast as this is the meal you're most likely to have at home, so you don't have to worry about carrying bottles of vitamin tablets with you all day and having to take them in front of your friends or colleagues.
