Which Sort Of Client Is Best For Me?

Business : Business Questions

This is an essential question for any small business, and indeed any business, to ask itself.

We all find through experience that some clients can actually be more hassle than they are worth. Those that are very hard to get to pay, or are very non-committal and always change their mind can need more time spent in managing the account than actually delivering the project.

Therefore with these customers a call needs to be taken as to whether they are worth having or if the extra cost and hassle needs to be factored into up front costs.

Do a review of your customers, where they come from, your communications with them and how valuable they are to you.

You may find some interesting trends and patterns emerging that you can exploit in order to really hone in on the perfect market for you.
