| Travel : Gap Years For many people, they will spend their last year at university or in higher education applying for jobs, and ultimately getting one. For those with a clear idea of what they want to do this is excellent. But for those who are uncertain what career they want or indeed apply but do not get into their chosen field, a gap year can be attractive as a way of doing something different for a little while and therefore taking the time to reflect on what it is you enjoy and what career you want. Many who take time out after education rather than before find that it does change their life perspective and gives them a clearer focus on what it is that they want to do with their lives, so a gap year for those who are uncertain as to their career path it is worth considering.
