Some women love to wear these items whilst for others - they find the whole patterned thing horrible, not nice to look at and too tied to Scotland and kilts. However, tartan is worthwhile having in your wardrobe as to some extent it is timeproof. There are always periods every few years where it comes back into fashion before going out again a few months later, so it is therefore worthwhile having as you know that it will be something you can wear in the future too when it comes back to fashion!
