How To Work Out The Cost Of Your Credit Card

Money : Banking

Note that you don't get confused with your credit card and the rate on it which may seem reasonable.

That's because some providers have taken to just showing the monthly interest that is charged on your statements and not the annual.

This can take away the awareness from you of exactly just how much the credit card costs over the course of the year.

Therefore to compare always try to find the APR, or the annual percentage rate that you will be charged as this is the best way to find out just how much it costs to borrow on that card and is therefore a useful figure to compare to see if you can get the same credit elsewhere for less (the lower the percentage APR the better for you!)
