How To Write A Haiku

A haiku is a short Japanese poem based on Zen Buddhist principles of simplicity, its themes often come from nature. A haiku should have three lines. The first consisting of five syllables, the second of seven and the third of five. For example:



Write for Tell Me How

Maybe I'll win fifty pounds

All is not lost yet
