| Hobbies : Writing If you are writing copy for an email under commission, then you should follow these tips: - Use bullet points to communicate key messages - Use plenty of sub headings - Keep all messages as short as possible: ideally no more than two sentences per paragraph People will not be prepared to spend much time reading emails, and therefore need the key messages quickly. You will need to prioritise clearly, and communicate the most important messages the company wishes to deliver at the top, whilst leaving the nice to have messages to the bottom. Wordy and long emails will turn off every reader, and you are very unlikely to be commissioned by that publication again to write their copy!
