As soon as you know why you are writing this edition of the newsletter, you will instantly get some focus as to what to write and the sort of topics to include. There is nothing worse than writing a newsletter for the sake of it and without a sense of purpose. For if you have no sense of purpose then it won't get you any business, people will get out of the habit of reading the newsletter. And moreover, people will unsubscribe. So, decide what you want to do with each issue and plan in paper before you start typing a letter of the email!
