Your Career Values: Community Person

Career : Your Career Values

A Community person is someone who thinks that communities work well for the benefit of society, and that a good company should be structured so as best to mirror a healthy community.

In this arrangement, you will value the people around you and the roles that they do, no matter where they are in the company pecking order.

If you have strong Community values, you will work best in a company that has clearly defined roles and also status levels and you feel happy and comfortable with different levels of hierarchy.

This is in contrast to someone who prefers their own autonomy and likes the flexibility and room to breathe and define their own role.

Larger companies tend to have more strictly defined roles and therefore suit people with a strong community career value better.
