| About Gail: | Married almost 24 years and the mother of 2 boys, 19 and 21. l'm starting to wonder about kids these days, l set up our first home at 18, got married at 20, first child at 22 followed by the second at 24. We recently went away for 5 days and left the boys to fend for themselves and to feed their Grandfather, you'd think l'd left them for 6 months in the wild, totally hopeless! Eldest sons girlfriend came over and cleaned up before we returned, bless the dear girl from what l've heard. Maybe it's the dreaded generation gap thing l'm finally starting to see it, althought it's scary when you have to stop yourself from sounding like your own mother. In the last 44 years l've gathered a lot of knowledge, know how and short cuts along that way and when my boys ask a question or want advice, l respond honestly and openly and they either don't believe what l tell them or they reply "What would you know" either way l can't win. Maybe it's just the "Male" spieces ??? |
