Antibiotics For Spots

i suffrered from acne through most of my teen years and i hated it, it would always make me feel so depressed!! i went to my GP about the problem and i must have tried just about everything to get rid of my spots. i cnt remeber everythin i was given but i took minocyclin, tetrocyclin antibiotics which did help but stopped after a while. i used all the creams such as benzoyl peroxide which is good at drying out the spots. eventually i asked to be referred to a dermatologist and as a last resort i went on the drug roaccutane. at first i was worried because of the drastic side effects this can hav however i experienced none of them and ur doctor keeps u closely monitired every month to check everything is going smoothly. and after 6 months of the treatment i was spot free. ive bin clear of spots now for 2 years and only get occasional ones when i come on my period but they dissappear quickly especially if i use sudocreme on them each nite. roaccutane really does work. if there is any one who is suffering and really need an answer i would recommend seeing your gp or asking ur gp to refer u to a dermatologist they really can help you, because they can figure out what is best for ur skin type. the thing is with toothpaste and all those other things they may work on blemishes but never on acne. trust me i know. also i would recommend if you hav the money for it, to try n-lite laser treatment or to research into it. hope this helps.
