if a player try to hit the shuttlecock but he misses but it is still in the air can he try to hit again before it touches the floor?

Replies:

Yeah...it's only if your raquet touches the birdie that the swing counts. That's why you can swing for the birdie and miss and let your partner hit it instead (in doubles). .
