How to clean the fish tank
just starting out and would like to no where i put my fish when cleaning water for first time?

There are a couple of ways of cleaning fish tank water.
One is to do a partial change on a regular basis, so for instance you might change 20% of the water for new water - this method means you don't need to move the fish.
For a full change of water, then get a second smaller container or tank where they are safe whilst you change the water to transfer them across.
