How to clean up spilt wax

Wax is quite easily to remove - that's the good news.
What you need to do is put some transparent paper above the wax stain, then apply the heat of an iron.
The paper will absorb up the melted wax and lift it from the surface.
In other words because wax can be melted easily, then you can remove it from surfaces easily.
