I have modelled for the last three years now, and when I started I was incredibly nervous. Magazine shoots etc are ok, the photographers are generally very friendly and they know how to put you at your ease. Catwalk modelling is a bit of a different story; it can be incredibly daunting because you know that if you go wrong, you can't just do it again. But these tips have always helped me:

1. Act confident, even if you don't feel it. Moaning to everyone backstage about how nervous you are will actually make you feel worse.
2. When you are on the catwalk, focus on a single person at the back of the room, and pretend that you and that person are the only ones in the room. Trust me, it does work!
3. Have fun! Instead of walking down the stage and thinking 'oh no, what if I fall over?' focus on the positive bits. Lets face it, millions of other girls would give anything to be doing what you're doing, so just relax, have fun, and enjoy yourself.

It gets easier, it really does!.
