I'm 43, face ok, blemishes freckles. i

i'm 43, my face is ok, just little blemishes and little freckles. i went to dermatologist and she did a what she called "quoterize" its a machine where pointing on the dark area and its kind a burning the dark area, advise me that it will go after 2 weeks. horribly after 2 weeks, my face have scars and became darken looks like a dark spots. can anybody let me know what is the best it not to remove the scars,just even to lighten the scars. i appreciate your help. thanks.
