Keeping cats out of your garden can be a real chore.
If you live in an area where almost everyone seems to have a cat, then there could be upwards of around ten cats that regularly visit your garden.
Some cats can be a nuisance for instance leaving you anything other than what you think of as a present and even if you have pets they can be a menace for instance if you have a guinea pig or similar.
To keep cats out there isn't a lot you can do in terms of plugging gaps in fences as they can get through the smallest holes and also climb athletically.
One option is to buy a special treatment agent that you pour on the grass that you can't smell but which has an unattractive odour to the cat.
This is expensive however and requires frequent application.
Other possibilities include humane ultra sonic sounders that emit a noise that is unpleasant to cats but that you can't hear.
