Model portfolio: how to get one?

How does it work getting a portfolio? Do i turn up at a studio and they dress me in stuff or do i have to take particular things along that i want to be photographed in?

Hey, when you find a studio, you usually call and schedule a shoot. They should either tell you what to bring and if somebody will be doing your hair or not, etc. etc. But if they don't tell you anything like that, just take basic clothing. White t-shirt, jeans, variety of shoes, and hair appliances. Basically, that's all you should need. If you are still un-sure, call back and ask. lol :)

There are various ways to get a model portfolio.

If you already have an agent they may arrange a photo shoot for you.

If not then you can either take some photos yourself or pay for a professional to take some pictures of you - the choice is yours!
