To open an envelope without it being noticeable is an age old question!
It depends largely on the type of envelope that you are trying to open.
To steam an envelope, you need to ensure that you steam just the glue adhesive section and not the rest of the envelope to stop it wilting.
Then buy a little liquid glue and spread gently and in small amount to reseal so that those who do open the envelope don't notice anything is amiss!
