How do you remove labels from wine bottles, spaghetti jars, etc. without tearing the label? I want to save the label!

Find a loose edge, run knife up inside. Soaking label a little before may help..

Use some hot soapy water to remove the label - this always works the best.
Let it soak through and many labels will become soggy and simply wipe off.
For really tough labels on bottles, try applying nail polish remover around the edge of the label and then this too should loosen the glue and the label will come off.
