You can use finger exercises to make fingers more nimble and more flexible. And you don't need a piano or any musical instrument to perform these exercises!
All that you need to do is simply place hands an inch above the desk, palms down, then lightly tap each finger of each hand in turn on the desk, very lightly, and gradually build up speed until you are doing it as quickly as you can. Keep doing this for thirty seconds.
Then lift hand in the air and tap the thumb against each finger on a hand in turn, with fingers held as straight as you can. This will help to also make your fingers more mobile.
